The Lighthouse Obereversand was between 1887-1923 a navigational light at the estuary of the River Weser. From 1923-1994 it was a rescue point for shipwrecked. In 2003 it was towed to Dorum and is now a point of interest in the Nationalpark Wadden Sea.

Early in the morning it was the time that die Fullmoon would fall into the sea. The weather was brillant, no clouds expect one only. And that one was in front of the setting moon. And so I waited for the Sunrise on the other side.

Around our resort Dorum there are some smaller villages with a church in the middle and a cemetery around it. I made a short bike trip to visit some of them. Have a look!

One day of our holiday I took my bike to cycle the 25 km southward to Bremerhaven. It was great to drive along the coast with gorgious views of the waterway to Bremerhaven.

From the Atlantic Hotel Sail City you have a beautiful 360-degrees-view of Bremerhaven. A "place to be" when you are in this city.
