"Still at work" - Part 2

During our holidays in Spain we made an one day trip to Barcelona. Not much time, but for our children long enough to be done in. Here are the pics from the Sagrada Familia. We were there 9 years ago and so we can see the progress. Nevertheless there is still a lot to do to finalize the church.

We decided to go by train to Barcelona. For our one day trip we went to the "nearby" station Tarragona Camps. From there we took the Renfe. With 300 km/h we "flew" to Barcelona.

We read about the Sardana-Dancing in our travelguide. So we went that Sunday afternoon to the great place in front of the Barcelona Cathedral for watching this happening. Old guys were playing on even older trumpets. And a lot of people were dancing the Sardana.

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família (English: Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family) commonly known as the Sagrada Família is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926).
