From our danish Holiday we made a trip to Hamburg (it was only 2h driving by car). We decided to take a regular harbour ferry to have a look on the giant harbour. It was a sunny saturday afternoon and we had a lot of fun to see an AIDA-vessel as well as the marvellous Queen Mary 2.

Queen Mary 2 | Hamburg | Germany | 2013-08-24
The main reason for our sightseeing trip to Hamburg was the presence of the Queen Mary 2. That Saturday the vessel layed at the dock and waited for the departure that evening. Now we have seen both Queen Marys: QM1 in Long Beach (in 2008) and now QM2 in Hamburg.

Marina Minde | Rendbjerg | Denmark | 2013-08
Nearby our holiday home is this marina. Every nice weekend it is overcrowded because of the ship owners, especially germans. The reason is that the route to the baltic sea is not as far as from Kiel or Lübeck.
