Botanical Garden | Berlin | Germany | 2008-08-12
The Berlin-Dahlem Botanical Garden and Botanical Museum is a botanical garden in the German capital city of Berlin, with an area of 43 hectares and around 22,000 different plant species.
The garden was constructed between 1897 and 1910. The best-known part of the garden is the Great Pavilion (Das Große Tropenhaus). The temperature inside is maintained at 30 °C and air humidity is kept high. Among the many tropical plants it hosts a giant bamboo.

Colorado National Monument is a part of the National Park Service near the city of Grand Junction, Colorado, in the western part of the state. Spectacular canyons cut deep into sandstone and even granite–gneiss–schist rock formations, in some areas. This is an area of semi-desert land high on the Colorado Plateau, with pinion and juniper forests on the plateau.

"Endless Horizon" - Part 1

"Little Gnoms everywhere"

This little State Park is situated some miles away from the main touristic route from the Capitol Reef National Park to Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. Nevertheless it´s worth the travel because you find a lot of little goblins with different shapes and you can walk inside this magical wonderworld.

Capitol Reef National Park is a United States National Park, in south-central Utah. It is 100 miles (160 km) long but fairly narrow. The park, established in 1971, preserves 378 mi² (979 km²) and is open all year. "Capitol Reef" is the name of an especially rugged and spectacular segment of the Waterpocket Fold near the Fremont River.

Suddenly you stay at the viewpoint and have a perfect auditorium in front of you. Not only staying on top, also looking from the bottom between the loose rocks and trees make this National Park so beautiful. Bryce Canyon is named after Ebenezer Bryce, who homesteaded in the area in 1874. He once said: ‚It's a hell of a place to lose a cow. ..."

This little State Park beneath the Bryce Canyon National Park has rocks in different lightful colours mostly with a deep blue sky. Therefore in 1948 a visitor group of the National Geographic Society gives the name for this park in cooperation with Kodak.

The Wave in the Coyote Buttes in Utah is one of my Top 3 Spots on Earth. It´s hard to get a permit which allows you to walk there. Only 20 permits per day are issued. But if you have the chance to get there, be sure you will be overwhelmed.
