"The german Angkor Wat" - Part 3 (treetop walk)

Beelitz-Heilstätten is a large complex 1 hour south of Berlin. It was built as a health resort for lungs patients in the beginning of the 20th century. After the 2nd world war the russian military took the buildings and made the largest russian military hospital outside Russia. After the German reunification some of the houses has been modernized, some other houses decay. Since 2015 there is a treetop walk over the decayed buildings.

In September 2014 the Baumwipfelpfad near Bad Wildbad opened for guests. It is more than 1 kilometer long and has a height of 20 metres. At the end there is a tower with a height of 40 metres where you have a great view.
