The Top of the Rocks is a superb observation deck on top of the GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown. At 850 feet (260 m) high, the 70-story building is the 13th tallest in New York City. Its view is imho better than that one from the higher Empire State Building. The advantage here is that you have a spectacular view on Manhattan WITH the Empire State Building and not FROM the Empire.
After returning on the ground we made a short walk through the 125th street in Harlem.
